Welcome to the PATCH Trials Website! PATCH I: A double-blind, parallel group, randomised controlled trial comparing 12 months of penicillin with placebo, in patients with at least 2 previous episodes of cellulitis of the leg. PATCH II: A double-blind, parallel group, randomised controlled trial comparing 6 months of penicillin with placebo, in patients who have received treatment for cellulitis of the leg (both first episode and recurrent cases).
